Following Riven Tides map update in ARC Raiders, Classified Records within Port Authority Building has become a focal point of contention for many players. The rich loot contained within this locked room is enough to entice any squad to risk life and limb to storm the northern sector, however, the keycard required to unlock that door rarely makes a calm appearance.
Understanding the random mechanics – specifically that the keycard can potentially spawn in any container across multiple maps – and mastering the verified high-yield spawn zones are essential for building a consistent advantage across multiple matches, rather than turning every session into a mere gamble on luck.
IGGM will analyze the spawn mechanics and locations of Classified Records keycards across four key areas, providing you with the exact location of Classified Records and practical in-game strategies. Of course, if you do get lucky and find one, don’t forget to place Classified Records keycard in your Safe Pocket to ensure you don’t lose it.
Spawn Mechanics
In ARC Raiders, Classified Records keycard is not tied to any fixed spawn point or guaranteed container. It shares the same random generation logic as every other room keycard in the game: at the start of each match, the system strews a certain number of keycards across various interactive objects scattered throughout the entire map.
Instead of heading directly to a rumored spawn location, players must thoroughly search containers, loot piles, and storage crates on all maps. However, for players who wish to skip the grind entirely, you can also buy ARC Raiders Classified Records Keycards from IGGM.com to accelerate your progress.

Once acquired, the keycard is not automatically bound to the player’s account. If a player fails to place it in their Safe Pocket, the keycard will be permanently lost upon the character’s death – regardless of whether that death results from combat, running out of time, or a failed extraction attempt – before the match concludes.
This mechanic dictates the core strategic decision players must make when carrying a keycard: if you find a keycard in Dam Battlegrounds or Blue Gate maps, you should immediately follow a safe route to extract, deposit the keycard into your Safe Pocket, and secure your find.
If, however, you find the keycard while playing on Riven Tides map, you also have the option to accept the risk of losing it and make a direct dash toward Port Authority Building to unlock the door and claim the supplies on the spot.
However, for safety reasons, IGGM recommends prioritizing a successful extraction immediately after finding a keycard, rather than risking it all in pursuit of additional loot.
High-Probability Spawn Zones
Dam Battlegrounds and Blue Gate, specific zones are responsible for yielding the vast majority of keycard-type Arc Raiders items. Although Classified Records keycards do not have their own independent spawn statistics, the overall distribution density of keycards demonstrates a clear regional bias. Repeatedly sweeping through these specific zones is far more efficient than aimlessly scouring the entire map.

- Power Generation Complex

Where Exactly is Classified Records Keycard Used?
Once a player has acquired a Classified Records keycard and successfully extracted, they can select Riven Tides map for their next Arc Raiders match and head directly to Port Authority Building. This building is situated in the northern sector of Riven Tides map. The precise navigation route for entering the building is as follows:
Enter through the marked entrance on the ground floor of the building. Once inside, proceed straight down the only corridor available. When you reach a corner that turns to the right, follow the turn and walk a few steps further forward.
Turn left, and a locked metal door will appear. This is the entrance to Classified Records.
Port Authority Building is one of the most heavily contested locations on the entire Riven Tides map. This is due not only to the high-value loot contained within Classified Records but also because the building itself sits at a central intersection of key travel routes in the northern sector, frequently resulting in multiple squads approaching simultaneously from different directions.
Consequently, even if you possess the necessary keycard, you must remain vigilant against potential ambushes the moment you open the door. Many players choose to lie in wait in adjacent rooms, rushing out to launch a surprise attack the moment they hear the sound of the lock disengaging.
Therefore, IGGM recommends clearing the adjacent rooms with a grenade before opening the door. Alternatively, one squad member can cover the corridor from either side while another member quickly opens the door, enters the room, and immediately closes the door behind them.
Tactical Strategy
Based on the mechanics outlined above, an effective multi-match strategy should incorporate the following key actions:
First, before entering any Arc Raiders raid, clearly define your objective for that specific round. If you do not currently have a keycard in your inventory, focus your efforts on sweeping through the high-density zones in either Dam Battlegrounds or Blue Gate. Once you locate a keycard, immediately assess your current health status, ammunition count, and proximity to the nearest extraction point.
Do not let greed for loot delay your timely extraction. The cost of dying while carrying a keycard is far greater than the loss of a few pieces of standard loot.
Secondly, when playing on Riven Tides map, treat Hotel Panorama Azzurro as an additional waypoint to check while passing by, rather than as a substitute for your primary objective. Its loot spawn rate is simply too low, planning your entire route specifically around it will result in a significant amount of wasted time.
A more effective approach is to check Hotel Panorama Azzurro only when you are already searching for supplies in the adjacent areas on Riven Tides map, simply take a quick detour – spending just thirty seconds – to rapidly clear the two rooms on the second floor.
